All Magnet Schools
Three one-hour periods:
9 a.m. - 10 a.m., 11 a.m. - Noon, and 1 p.m. - 2 p.m
Most magnet schools hold their own open house on special dates. In addition to these, there is one day that all Duval County magnet schools hold an open house at the same time. This gives you an opportunity to visit several schools on the same day. For this district-wide open house day, no appointments are necessary; just visit the school or schools of your choice during the times listed above. Note: It is a good idea to arrive at each school at the beginning of the hour as many schools plan a presentation followed by a tour of the school.
January and February (January 14, 28 and February 4, 18)

Looking for general information about magnet programs and a chance to ask questions? Come to any of our Magnet Information Sessions, which are held two Thursday evenings in January (beginning January 14th) and February (ending February 18th). You'll hear a presentation by a magnet representative and have an opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Remember, each of these presentations is the same; the only difference is the dates. This way, you can choose the Thursday evening in January or February that is most convenient for you.
